Hi all. I have a fairly unusual task I need to do for an mp3 collection.
What I need is to tag the original release year of everything, like all of the tracks on a best of compilation should have the years they were originally released, not the year the best of was put out, no dates of remasters either.
I don’t mind sitting and checking one by one as they go through - but would like to know if it is actually possible before I go ahead.
Is beets capable of doing this?
