Beets doesn’t change directories after modifying metadata

I’m trying to locally change some metadata that was originally extracted from MusicBrainz. I have some songs that are part of the album “Tim Maia Racional, Volume 1” from albumartist “Tim Maia Racional”. I would like to change it to “Racional, Volume 1” from albumartist “Tim Maia”, but even after performing a beet mod and a beet write, the beet mv says everything is in its right place.

I’ve checked with exiftool and the wright seems to have been successful.

How can I make Beets update the directories appropriately?

Yes, I’ve tryed beet move. It says

Got it. Can you please try using beet modify -a when modifying album-level fields like albumartist? See further discussion here:
