Help with moving a file

Hi,

Was importing, a file was in a folder by its own, the rest of the album together. Unfortunately, beets found the single folder first and since I didn’t know the rest of the album was elsewhere, I imported it as a track. Then, it found the other folder, with all other songs, which are now imported as an album.

How can I add the single track to the album (and have the file moved appropriately)?

The easiest way is probably to import the second “album” and then, when beets detects a duplicate, select the option to merge the two albums. Alternatively, you can remove the current “album” from your library and then import all the files together (perhaps in “flat” mode).
