Failing to preserve mtime upon import using ItemAdded Plugin / preserve_write_mtime

Hello,

first of all thank you for the great program.

I use beets to correct metadata on the fly and do file organization into folders etc manually and use Beet import and beet update to refresh the database regularily.
My config file is below for reference.

One thing i have an issue with is, that upon every (beet) update all of the files are touched and have a new modified date, which is messing up my “recently added” tab in my Subsonic server.
I tried to use preserve_mtime but it doesn’t seem to work.
Is my config looking alright?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
