After an in-place import (no moving of files) I have changed a few album directories etc. Do I have to manually re-import those directories? Or is there a “check what is gone or has changed” import mode that I haven’t found yet?
Yo! There’s nothing that does exactly what you want, but beet update does part of it. (It notices deleted files and reads new metadata.)
Tracking moved files, unfortunately, would be really hard—perhaps for obvious reasons.
