I started my music library rebuilding by importing CDs by one artist first, and now I am importing the various artist CDs. I just discovered the duplicates plugin, and I have several duplicates from the compilation albums.
I noticed there is a tiebreak configuration option. I already have it configured with tiebreak: {items: [bitrate]}. I need help in formatting other conditions for the tiebreak (if possible), and also the best way to keep the songs from one artist albums and delete the duplicate various artist track. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this?
Probably not the answer that you want to hear, but are you sure you want to get rid of the duplicates? I’d rather have duplicates than incomplete albums.
considering that my collection (still incomplete) takes up 350+ GB, yes. Ideally, I would like to have placeholders for the soundtracks or compilation albums. I’m not sure if any music manager is capable of that, and if it is, The streaming server would also have to support it.
