I’m importing 5 CD’s worth of digital media FLAC’s and have found the Musicbrainz ID I’d like to match on. ([https://musicbrainz.org/release/f881400f-1e7b-46d7-8374-adf4ffd1f4ea](https://musicbrainz.org/release/f881400f-1e7b-46d7-8374-adf4ffd1f4ea))

This album consists of 5 CDs and Beets will obviously report missing tracks for the DVD/Bluray media within that release. That’s fine.

However, in my directory of 5 folders per CD, the first folder is being misread as Disc 6 (a bluray) and therefore will be tagged wrongly. In fact, it skips matching it as disc one altogether.

I’ve no idea how to fix that, please, help.

Many thanks

**1. The folder structure:**

**2. Folder 1 contents:**

**3. Beets failing to match that folder:**

Hmm… given the similarity of the track names, this seems like a tricky thing for beets to get right. Two options might include:

- Putting the disc number into the files’ metadata ahead of time (if it’s not already there).
- Ignore Blu-Ray media. There is an [`ignored_media` config option](https://beets.readthedocs.io/en/stable/reference/config.html#ignored-media) that you can set to filter these discs out altogether.

Thank you, Adrian, this helped massively. Problem solved, thank you! 🙂
