# Lastgenre overwriting existing tags

Hi,

I’m trying lastgenre plugin with following settings:  
lastgenre:  
count: 3  
separator: ‘;’  
prefer\_specific: yes  
force: no  
fallback: ‘Unknown’

The description says that “To instead leave genres in place in when they pass the whitelist, set the `force` option to `no`”. So I guess existing tags should be kept.

1. Why is tag “Hard Rock” removed? It is in the default whitelist, isn’t it?
2. Why is tag “Unknown” used? The Last.fm page lists tags for this album?
